Please review the information below to help ensure a safe, comfortable, and memorable stay for you and your guests.

These policies help us protect the home, care for our guests, and keep every stay comfortable, safe, and enjoyable.
1. Booking & Payment A signed rental agreement and required payment are needed to confirm your reservation.

Reservations may include applicable taxes, cleaning or maintenance fees, processing fees, security deposit or damage protection fees, and any other applicable charges.
For reservations made close to arrival, full payment may be required at the time of booking. Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive additional stay details before arrival.

Additional overnight guests, parties, events, school groups, fraternity groups, civic groups, or non-family group gatherings are not permitted without prior written approval.
The person booking the stay is responsible for all members of their group and any visitors invited onto the property.

Guests agree to keep the home clean, safe, and in good condition; follow all posted house rules and instructions; avoid unsafe, unsanitary, disruptive, or damaging behavior; use the home only for lawful residential vacation purposes; and report any issues or damage promptly.
Violation of house rules may result in termination of the stay without refund.

Pets are not permitted inside the home, on the property, in the hot tub, or in any outdoor amenities.
Unauthorized pets may result in removal from the property and forfeiture of payments.
5. Hot Tub, Sauna & Outdoor Amenities Please use all amenities safely, responsibly, and with care.
Guests may have access to outdoor and recreational amenities, which may include the hot tub, sauna, pool, decks, outdoor seating, and seasonal recreation areas.
These amenities are offered for guest enjoyment, but guests use them at their own risk.
Please use all amenities safely and responsibly. Misuse, including adding soap, oils, glass, metal, food, or foreign substances to the hot tub or pool, may result in additional service or cleaning charges.
Children must be supervised at all times around water, decks, stairs, fireplaces, sauna, hot tub, and outdoor areas.
6. Weather, Nature & Mountain Conditions Hirsch Haus is located in a beautiful mountain and forest setting.
Hirsch Haus is located in a beautiful mountain and forest setting. With that comes natural seasonal conditions such as snow, ice, mud, rain, insects, wildlife, slippery decks or steps, and changing weather.
Guests are responsible for using caution outdoors and dressing appropriately for the season.
No refunds are provided for weather events, natural conditions, power outages, water shortages, area construction, acts of nature, or government-mandated emergencies or evacuations.
7. Appliances, Utilities & Maintenance We make every reasonable effort to keep the home and amenities in good working order.
We make every reasonable effort to ensure appliances, systems, and amenities are in good working order before and during your stay.
Occasionally, appliances, hot tubs, pools, internet, power, water systems, or other home features may require repair or service.
While we will do our best to address issues quickly, refunds are not provided for temporary outages or amenity interruptions.
The owner or authorized service providers may access the property when necessary for inspection, repair, maintenance, or urgent safety concerns.
8. Linens, Towels & Home Items Linens, towels, furnishings, kitchen items, games, décor, and supplies are provided.
Linens, towels, furnishings, kitchen items, games, décor, and household supplies are provided for guest use during the stay.
Guests are responsible for lost, stained, damaged, or missing items. Replacement or excessive cleaning charges may apply when needed.
9. Lost & Found Please contact us as soon as possible if you leave something behind.
If you leave something behind, please contact us as soon as possible.
Guests are responsible for any shipping costs related to returning lost items. Unclaimed items may be discarded after a short holding period.
10. Cancellations & Refunds Cancellation terms follow the policy shown at booking and/or the rental agreement.

No refunds are provided for early departures, weather, road conditions, utility interruptions, unavailable amenities, personal schedule changes, or circumstances outside the owner’s control unless otherwise required by law or stated in your booking terms.
If the home becomes unavailable for reasons within the owner’s control and no reasonable substitute is available, the owner’s liability is limited to refunding monies paid for the reservation.
11. Safety & Responsibility Guests acknowledge that indoor and outdoor vacation rental stays include inherent risks.
By booking Hirsch Haus, guests acknowledge that indoor and outdoor vacation rental stays include inherent risks.
These may include use of stairs, decks, fireplaces, hot tub, sauna, pool, recreational equipment, outdoor areas, snowy or icy surfaces, insects, animals, and natural terrain.
The booking guest assumes responsibility for themselves, all minor children, all members of their party, and any visitors invited to the property.
12. Rental Agreement All reservations are subject to the full Hirsch Haus rental agreement.
