Dant Hirsch

In his day-to-day role, Dant serves as President of Ocean House Collection, a luxury hospitality company that includes award-winning hotels, destination restaurants, private clubs, and vacation homes. Under his leadership, the Collection has earned four Forbes Five-Star awards, more than any similarly sized luxury hotel company in the United States.

Originally from Vancouver Island, Canada, Dant grew up surrounded by mountains, forests, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. From skiing, hiking, fishing, camping, and ice skating to long days spent exploring nature, some of his favorite memories have always been connected to being outside and sharing those experiences with family and friends.

Hospitality has been part of his life from the very beginning. Raised at his family’s seaside resort on Vancouver Island, where he lived from the age of three through his teenage years, he experienced firsthand what it means to welcome guests, create memorable experiences, and make people feel at home. That early foundation sparked a lifelong passion for hospitality that continues today.

Throughout his career, Dant has opened and led some of North America’s most respected Forbes Five-Star luxury resorts and hotels. His experience includes leadership roles with renowned hospitality brands such as Six Senses, St. Regis, COMO Hotels & Resorts, Faena, Ritz-Carlton, and Ocean House Collection. His background spans luxury resorts, private clubs, residences, and world-class guest experiences.

That connection to hospitality and nature is one of the reasons Vermont immediately felt like home. The mountains, changing seasons, fresh air, and endless opportunities for adventure reflect many of the things he loves most and hopes guests will experience during their stay.

While he still enjoys time at the hockey rink, these days his favorite moments are often the simplest ones—exploring the outdoors, making memories with family, and sharing the beauty of Vermont with others through Hirsch Haus.

Ana Maria Hirsch

Design, Hospitality & Guest Experience

Born in South America, Ana Maria has spent much of her life exploring new places, building meaningful connections, and creating welcoming spaces for family and friends.

With a background in architecture, design, hospitality, and project management, she has lived and worked throughout Hawaii, Florida, New York, the Caribbean, and New England.

Her passion for thoughtful design helped shape many of the spaces throughout Hirsch Haus, with a focus on creating a home that feels both beautiful and welcoming. As a traveler, host, wife, and mother, she believes the best homes are the ones that bring people together and become part of a family’s favorite memories.
